My Home

Welcome to my home! Earth tones, blues, and creams, with a touch of glam lighting. Traditional pieces mixed with modern and coastal. Some call this style eclectic... I don't give it a name. I just know home is where the heart is, and I Love being home.

Growing up my family often vacationed to Martha's Vinyard or Nantucket during the summers. The first time I visited Nantucket I fell in love. (Not with a boy from Boston). I fell in love with a home near a light house. I can't remember exactly which home it was or which light house for that matter. What I do remember is the cedar shake siding mixed with white molding, the wood window boxes filled with flowers, the stone driveway with Kelly green grass peeking through, and the blue Nantucket Sound in the background. It was love at first sight. My absolute favorite part of this home was the cedar shake siding. It looked weathered but perfectly weathered. It wasn't a shiny new home. It was a well loved home.

The pictures above are some of my "happy spaces." These spaces bring me calm and I admire them. My home is not as colorful as my closet but, it has a variety of shades which I think make it interesting. I've never hired an interior decorator. I do however, fancy the occasional HGTV show, a Ballard Designs catalog, Serena & Lily's website, and the showroom at Arhaus.
