It's no secret that I love shoes. I enjoy long walks through the Saks shoe department where I admire (and do not buy) their shoes. I do however buy often from Zappos, Nordstrom and Dillard's. On three separate special occasions my sweet husband gifted me gold Loeffler Randall Penny Knot heels, Golden Goose Sneakers, and white Louboutin red bottom stilettos. He shows his love through gifting and I don't complain! Thanks darling!

My favorite shoe is a neutral colored wedge. They're comfortable on my feet, easy to walk in, and make my legs look longer than they are. I'm 5ft 4 and love to give the illusion that I'm 5ft 7. Wedges also look great with shorts, jeans, & dresses which is why I have so many of them.

I first realized my love of shoes may be a problem my last year teaching elementary school. One of my sweet boys commented on my shoe collection. In fact he said, "Man she has a lot of shoes!" to himself or maybe the person next to him. My response was to giggle to myself then turn his comment into a math estimation problem. "How many pairs of shoes do you think I have boys & girls?" The students wrote down their guesses, I collected them, went home, counted my shoes, took pictures of my shoes (so they would believe me), and returned to my class the next day. As I reviewed the guesses I immediately felt a bit embarrassed. I had twice as many pairs than their guesses! Yikes! I can't remember the exact number but it was somewhere in the 70's. 😵‍💫

Yes, I have a problem but my problem could be worse right?
